Induspalma is an agribusiness company that engages in growing oil palm trees and producing palm oil and other byproducts.
Incorported in February 1981, Induspalma Dominicana S.A. is the most important and ambitious project for the production of palm-based vegetable oil in the Caribbean. Since it was first commissioned, the Dominican Republic considerably reduced its import of edible oils and was placed in the map of quality oil producing countries.
Induspalma plantations currently exceed 7,000 hectares located in the Monte Plata and Hato Mayor Provinces. Our different agro industrial processes generate more than 1,000 jobs, benefitting hundreds of families and impacting the socioeconomic development of dozens of communities within this region.
This project was finally executed after several years of research studies carried out by specialists from different countries who took into account every detail of its feasibility and environmental impact.
Experts classify Induspalma plantations (located on 18 ° N) as world-class, well-structured productive units with an acceptable competitiveness level. The company has received several acknowledgements on their industrial processes, as they are carried out under the best environment-friendly standards.
