Grupo SID is reinforcing its commitment to human talent development by signing a collaboration agreement with Formato Educativo, a renowned business school based in Spain. This agreement will allow its employees to access high-level international postgraduate scholarships designed to strengthen their professional skills and prepare them for the challenges of an increasingly demanding and dynamic environment.
The alliance includes more than 150 scholarships for master’s programs, covering 70 specializations, in line with the business group’s vision of strengthening an organizational culture based on continuous learning and excellence. The agreement was formalized during an institutional event led by Ligia Bonetti, CEO of Grupo SID, and Hugo Domínguez, Director of Formato Educativo Business School, as part of the EducaSID program.
During the event, Bonetti noted that “the sustainable growth of organizations is directly linked to the development of their people. At Grupo SID, we see continuous training as a strategic investment that strengthens adaptability, improves the quality of decision-making, and prepares our teams to lead in contexts of constant transformation.”
For his part, Domínguez emphasized that “Grupo SID is a key player in the economic and social development of the Dominican Republic, and this alliance represents a natural fit between two institutions that share the conviction that education is a fundamental driver for talent growth, innovation, and sustainability.”
The programs will be offered in a blended learning format, and upon completion, participants will receive a certificate awarded by Formato Educativo Business School, with academic endorsement from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business Impact and the University of Vitoria-Gasteiz.
In the past year, Grupo SID recorded an average of 99,000 hours of training, both virtual and in-person, covering key areas such as sustainability, quality, safety, cybersecurity, and leadership. This effort is complemented by its Scholarship Program, which benefits employees, their children, and outstanding students from the community. Developed in partnership with renowned academic institutions, the program currently offers 150 active scholarships.
With this agreement, Grupo SID reaffirms its commitment to lifelong learning and building increasingly skilled teams, as part of its contribution to strengthening the business sector and the sustainable development of the Dominican Republic.
