Minister of Industry, Commerce, and MSMEs Eduardo Sanz Lovatón visited the company and was welcomed by its Executive President, Ligia Bonetti, who highlighted the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors.

Grupo SID welcomed the Minister of Industry, Commerce, and MSMEs, Eduardo Sanz Lovatón, along with a delegation from the government institution, for a meeting aimed at strengthening dialogue between the public and private sectors and identifying opportunities for collaboration that contribute to the country’s industrial and economic development.

Ligia Bonetti, Executive President of Grupo SID, accompanied by executives from the conglomerate, presented the minister and his delegation with a comprehensive overview of the company, its evolution over nearly nine decades, its contribution to the development of the Dominican economy, and the main initiatives driving its growth, innovation, sustainability, and expansion into new markets.

During the meeting, participants exchanged perspectives on the main challenges and opportunities facing the country’s productive sector. Discussions addressed competitiveness, investment attraction, the strengthening of value chains, innovation, and the need to continue promoting an environment that supports the sustainable growth of Dominican industry.
