Grupo SID and its company Induveca announce strategic alliance with Grupo Medrano’s radio stations

Mrs. Ligia Bonetti, Executive President of Grupo SID and her company Induveca, announce a strategic alliance with Grupo Medrano, where through the majority acquisition of the radio stations they will consolidate the economic and cultural development of La Vega.

Radio stations play a fundamental role in our society by offering a unique and multifaceted value. These media are open windows to information, providing immediate access to news, entertainment and culture. Their ability to reach diverse audiences, regardless of geographic or socioeconomic barriers, makes them powerful agents of connection and social cohesion. By managing these stations, they are taking on the responsibility of being watchdogs of local voices and facilitators of an open dialogue that resonates with community concerns and aspirations.

The decision to enter into this alliance with Grupo Medrano stems from a carefully considered strategy and to do so hand in hand with the Medrano family, with its deep-rooted relevance in the region, represents an ideal partnership in our mission to strengthen the region’s progress,” she said.

He also announced that Mrs. Rosa Olga Medrano will continue with the management of the radio stations due to her outstanding capacity, seriousness and dedication. “It is an honor to have a professional like her leading this new stage of the stations, a businesswoman of vision who has left a significant mark on the local media scene, allowing us to consolidate our continued commitment to the development of La Vega,” added Bonetti.

This alliance includes radio stations in different parts of the country: Ritmo 96, Estrella 90, Canal 105, Super k, Suave 107, Tropicalisimard, Trebol, Turbo 98, Tropicana 106.3, Radio olímpica 970am, Radio La vega 870am, Hispaniola 1050 am, and Radio Crystal 570.

This new phase brings with it the promise of dynamic and enriching communication for La Vega and the entire country. This collaboration not only marks a milestone in the economic and cultural development of the region, but also represents our ongoing commitment and collaboration with the community.
