As part of World Road Safety Day, Grupo SID held the “Road Safety Education Conference” as part of its new internal campaign “Suma Seguridad”, reaffirming its commitment to the protection of life and the promotion of an organizational culture focused on prevention, responsibility and respect for traffic regulations.

The training was given by Aníbal Germoso, representative of Accidentes RD, and took place at the Santo Domingo and La Vega sites, where executives and collaborators participated in an enriching day that combined technical training with participatory dynamics. Attendees experienced the use of drunkenness simulator lenses and a crash simulator, tools designed to raise awareness, in a safe way, about the consequences of driving under inappropriate conditions.

“Suma Seguridad” was born as a cross-cutting strategy that seeks to promote safer working and operating environments, minimizing risks and protecting the well-being of the GenteSID. Through a series of educational, communicational and interactive actions, the program promotes individual and collective responsibility at all levels of the organization, highlighting the importance of adopting safe practices inside and outside the work environment.

With this initiative, Grupo SID continues to strengthen its preventive culture, focusing on continuous training, the integrity of its employees and the development of an increasingly conscious, humane and sustainable operation.
