José Miguel Bonetti Guerra is recognized at the elDinero Economic Forum for his career and contributions to the industrial sector.

For his contributions to the economic development of the Dominican Republic and his legacy as an example of inspiration in the private sector for present and future generations, the President of the Board of Directors of Grupo SID, José Miguel Bonetti Guerra, was recognized by the third edition of the ElDinero Economic Forum.

In thanking the award, Bonetti Guerra said “The country requires a committed and responsible businessman who has as a priority the welfare and development of our nation, a businessman who is present in the good times, but also in the bad times, who participates in the search for solutions to the structural problems we have as a country and above all a businessman who bets on our country”.

The businessman, to whom this year’s forum was also dedicated, added “To achieve this development it is also crucial to guarantee a scenario with clear rules of the game for business growth, an environment in which all companies compete on equal terms, thus encouraging investment, innovation and productivity”.

Bonetti Guerra received the plaque of recognition from the hands of businessman Carlos José Martí, president of Grupo Martí, and Jairon Severino, director of El Dinero, in the framework of the forum which in its third edition debated issues related to the connection between politics and the economy for the development of the Dominican Republic.

The Forum was attended by eminent personalities in the economic field and key figures of the Dominican political and business spectrum, who met to discuss the fundamental challenges facing the nation in terms of fiscal management, monetary policy, incentives for industrial innovation and the role of the banking system in the consolidation of an equitable and sustainable economy.
