MercaSID will launch its Crisol brand at Walmart through its partnership with Iberia Foods

With this agreement, MercaSID will soon expand the presence of its Crisol Oil product in the United States by incorporating it into Walmart stores in the eastern part of the country. This step strengthens its international reach, connects with the Dominican community abroad, and opens new market opportunities.

New Jersey, USA – July 17, 2025 – Grupo SID, through its company MercaSID, announced that, in an unprecedented move, its Crisol Oil brand will be present in Walmart stores throughout the eastern United States, thanks to an agreement signed with Iberia Foods during the National Supermarket Association (NSA) Trade Show.

The agreement represents a milestone in MercaSID’s international expansion, which will allow it to reach more than 800 Walmart stores in the aforementioned US region. With this alliance, the company, along with Crisol oil, strengthens its presence in the competitive US market and guarantees to impact not only the Hispanic community, but all consumers in the US market through one of the most influential retail chains in the world.

“This achievement takes on even more special significance as it involves Crisol Oil, a genuinely Dominican product, made by Dominican hands and with a history of decades in our kitchens. Seeing it now on Walmart shelves in the United States is not only an important business achievement: it’s a celebration of talent, quality, and Dominican identity that transcends borders. It’s a symbol of how far our products can go when done with quality and excellence,” highlighted MercaSID Executive Vice President Jose Miguel Bonetti D.

The signing of the agreement was attended by José Miguel Bonetti Dubreil, Executive Vice President of MercaSID, and Peter Casais, Vice President of Sales for Iberia Foods, accompanied by Ligia Bonetti, Executive President of Grupo SID. Roberto Bonetti Pastoriza, Corporate Vice President of Investments and Exports at Grupo SID; and Carlos Gil, Director of Growth at Iberia Foods, along with other executives from both companies.

The agreement was formalized during the second day of the NSA Trade Show 2025, one of the most important retail trade shows in the United States, where Grupo SID had a prominent participation, showcasing its product portfolio and strengthening relationships with its customers.
